Deposits & payment

Clear from the start

Sending a brief is free and you're under no obligation until you say yes to the price. To secure a sourced piece we take a deposit before we buy it for you.

Deposit to secure Paid once you've approved the price, so we can buy the piece on your behalf.

Sometimes full payment For limited or high-demand pieces we may need payment in full up front. We'll always tell you first.

Balance before dispatch Any remaining balance is paid once the piece has passed inspection, before it's sent.

If we can't get the piece we agreed, your deposit is refunded in full.

Every piece is different. Some we can get in days, rare pieces can take longer. We agree a timeframe with you before you pay, and keep you updated the whole way.

Does it cost anything to send a brief?

No. Sending a brief is free and there's no obligation to buy. You only pay once you've seen the price and said yes.

How does the deposit work?

Once you approve the price, we take a deposit so we can buy the piece for you. For limited or high-demand pieces we may ask for full payment up front, and we'll always tell you before you commit. Any balance is due after the piece has passed our inspection, before it's sent.

What if you can't find it?

We'll tell you honestly, and suggest alternatives if there are good ones. If you've paid a deposit for a piece we then can't get, it's refunded in full.

How long does sourcing take?

It depends on the piece. Some take days, rare or limited items can take longer. We agree a timeframe with you before you pay anything, and keep you updated throughout.

How do I know it's authentic?

Every piece is inspected by us before it's sent to you, and we only buy from sources we trust. Read our authenticity guarantee for the full detail.

Can you help with styling if I'm not buying from you?

Styling works best alongside a piece we're sourcing or shopping for you. Mention it in your brief and we'll let you know what we can do and confirm any cost before we start.

Can I return a sourced piece?

Your rights under UK consumer law apply to sourced pieces just as they do to anything else you buy online from us. See our returns policy for how it works.

How will my order be delivered?

Once it's passed inspection, we send it tracked with Royal Mail. You'll get tracking as soon as it's on its way.
